Sometimes your team's generosity gets a head start on timely giving moments! π
For example, coworkers might find and donate to a published memorial fund in the days before it goes live across the organization.
The good news: Millie Support can reprocess early donations, tying them to your campaign, and giving you the chance to show everything your team gave.
𧩠How it works
- Campaigns only count donations made after the campaign is live (not just published!). Earlier donations aren't added automatically.
- Millie Support (or your CSM) can reprocess earlier donations into the campaign from the back end.
π¨ How to request it
- Email team@milliegiving.com with:
- The campaign name (or its URL)
- The nonprofit or nonprofits the donations went to
- The date range of donations to include
- Any donations to leave out
- Our team reprocesses the donations and emails you as soon as they've been added. β
π What changes after reprocessing
- π Campaign totals: the campaign page and goal tracker will now include the added donations within 48 hours.
- π Analytics: the early donations will show up in campaign reports and filters.
- π§Ύ Original donations: amounts, dates, receipts, and disbursements to the nonprofit stay exactly the same.
π€« Donor privacy
Adding a donation to a campaign never reveals who gave. Employee profiles are private by default, so these donations show on the campaign page as "Someone donated" unless the employee has made their profile public.
π‘ Want to skip this step next time?
- Publish the campaign as close to the go-live date as you can (Millieβs draft functionality makes advance set up easy without publishing too soon!)
- Ask employees who give outside Millie to submit an offline donation and select the campaign on the form.
