How Payments Show Up

This page explains how your company’s donations, matches, and fee coverage transactions are reflected in reporting, what you’ll see in your dashboard, and how to reconcile payments from Millie.

🧾 Types of Transactions You’ll See

Millie-powered donations and matches are processed through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) partner, the Percent Impact Foundation. Here's what you'll see:

  • Employee Donation
    • Appears with donor name, amount, nonprofit, and date
    • Processed via credit card, payroll, or gift card
    • Shows in the admin dashboard under "Transactions" and in CSV exports
  • Company Match
    • Automatically linked to the original donation
    • Match amount and nonprofit will appear as a separate transaction with the match amount noted
    • If fees are covered, the match will reflect full amount sent to nonprofit
  • Fee Coverage (if enabled)
    • Shows as a separate line item in the transaction export
    • The company wallet is debited for the covered fee
  • Wallet Usage
    • Any company spend (match, gift card, fee coverage) is reflected in the company wallet history
    • Exportable via CSV for reconciliation

🗓 When Do Payments Go Out?

All donations and matches are batched monthly for disbursement.

  • Payments are typically made by check or ACH from Percent Impact Foundation
  • A single payment may bundle multiple donations to one nonprofit
  • The nonprofit will receive a cover letter with instructions on accessing donor details on Millie
