Millie now supports donations in non-U.S. currencies, making it easier to give to international nonprofits in the currency that makes the most sense for you.
Whether you want to give in euros, pounds, or another currency, you’ve got options!
How to choose your currency
You have two ways to select a different currency:
1. Change your wallet currency
- Go to the Wallet tab at the top of your Millie dashboard
- Use the country dropdown to select your preferred currency
- This will update all donation amounts and future transactions to display in that currency
- Your wallet will remain set to that currency until you manually change it again
This option is best if you regularly give in a specific currency or to nonprofits based in that country.
2. Change currency from a nonprofit’s profile
If you're making a one-time donation, you can choose a different currency directly from the nonprofit’s profile page. Just select your preferred currency before donating — no need to change your full wallet settings.
Important reminders
- Your currency selection will stay active for future donations until you change it back
- If you only want to give in another currency for one donation, be sure to switch back to your original currency afterward
