Millie supports charitable payroll deductions for companies that choose to offer this option to their employees.
Payroll giving allows you to direct a portion of your paycheck to support nonprofits you care about — with full visibility and flexibility right from your Millie account.
How payroll giving works
1. Set up a recurring donation with payroll selected
If payroll giving is available at your company, you’ll see Payroll Deduction as a payment option when setting up a recurring donation on any nonprofit’s profile.
To set up:
- Go to the nonprofit's page on Millie
- Select your donation amount and frequency
- Choose Payroll Deduction from the payment dropdown
- Click Set Monthly Donation to confirm
2. Payroll deductions are processed monthly
Your company will process deductions on the 5th of each month based on the elections made in Millie the prior month.
At that time:
- You’ll receive a confirmation email and tax receipt from Millie (on behalf of Percent Impact Foundation)
- The nonprofit will receive your donation based on your original selection and amount
3. Manage and adjust your payroll giving anytime
You can view and manage all of your payroll donations from your Millie Wallet:
- Go to the Payroll Donations tab at the bottom of your wallet
- View active and past payroll gifts
- Cancel any donation with a single click
Your donation history will also be available in your wallet for reference and tax purposes.

- Tax-deductible: All payroll donations are processed by Percent Impact Foundation (EIN: 87-3165286) and are tax-deductible
- Flexible: You can cancel or adjust your payroll donations at any time
- Visible: All payroll donations appear alongside your other transactions for easy tracking
