Each nonprofit on Millie has a single account that allows you to view donations, access donor details, and manage your organization’s profile.
Access to this account is controlled through profile claiming. (Learn more about claiming your profile here)
👤 Who can access your nonprofit account?
When a nonprofit profile is claimed on Millie, the person who completes the process automatically becomes the account admin.
At this time, each nonprofit profile can only be associated with one user account (one email address).
The account admin can:
- View donation history and details
- Access donor information (when available)
- Update your organization’s profile (name, description, branding, volunteer events etc.)
⚠️ What if multiple people need access?
Because only one login is supported per nonprofit profile today, many organizations choose to:
- Use a shared team email address (e.g., donations@, development@)
- Share login access internally with relevant team members
This helps ensure continuity across teams like fundraising, finance, and operations.
⚠️ What if someone else already claimed our profile?
If your organization’s profile has already been claimed, you may see a message indicating it’s associated with another email address.
In this case, you have a few options:
- Check internally to see if a colleague has already claimed the profile
- Request a password reset for the existing account
- Reach out to Millie support (team@milliegiving.com) and we can help:
- Confirm the current email on file
- Update the email address if needed
- Help you regain access
🔄 Can we transfer or update account ownership?
Yes—if the current account owner has left your organization or you’d like to use a different email address, we can help update the account email.
We may ask for a quick verification step to ensure the request is coming from your organization.
